114pet (Animal Hospitals in Korea) is a directory that organizes information on animal hospitals across South Korea, based on Korea's public administrative licensing data (행정안전부 지방행정인허가데이터). Every fact is shown with its source and data date.
Data source and scope
- · Source: MOIS local administrative licensing data (행정안전부 지방행정인허가데이터)
- · Data date (sync date): 2026-06-01
- · Scope: 5,443 animal hospitals nationwide (only those registered as operating)
- · Coordinates: original central-belt (EPSG:5174) converted to WGS84.
Update cycle
We periodically download the public source file (target: once a day) and regenerate it, extracting only operating hospitals. The data date is when the source file was downloaded; each facility's original last-modified date is shown on its page.
Neutrality
114pet does not provide rankings, recommendations, or comparisons. Lists are sorted by neutral criteria such as alphabetical order, and we do not use expressions like “best” or “#1”. Registration (개설신고) is shown only as an administrative fact under the Veterinarians Act; we do not evaluate any clinic or label others as “illegal”.
Independence
114pet is an independent service built on Korea's public administrative licensing data, and is not directly affiliated with the government or any animal hospital. Information that partners (the hospitals themselves) enter in the future will be displayed separately from the public-data section.
